The purpose of the Lakewood Hills Board is to promote and preserve the well-being and protection of the neighborhood; assure its beauty, safety, and stability, plus encourage neighborliness and pride with mutual respect. In order to run as a board member, you must be an active member of the neighborhood association.
President

The President shall be the principal executive officer of the Association and shall preside at all meetings, represent the Association on public occasions, make such committee appointments from the membership as shall be deemed advisable for the effective conduct of the work of the Association, and serve as an ex-office member of all committees, except for the Nominating Committee.
Vice President

The Vice-President shall assist the President as the President requests, represent the Association on appropriate occasions, and shall be responsible for the coordination of the programs, locations, and activities of all meetings of the Association. The Vice-President shall also, in the absence or disability of the President, perform the duties and exercise the powers of the President.
Treasurer

The Treasurer shall collect all dues, be in charge of Association bank accounts, pay bills, and ensure that all appropriate IRS forms are filed in a timely manner. The Treasurer shall also keep a list of all active Association members, limiting its access exclusively to necessary functions of the Association. The expenditure of funds over $100 in any month shall be ratified by the Executive Committee.
Recording Secretary

The Recording Secretary shall keep attendance records and record the minutes of all Association meetings, maintain adequate records of the Association, and conduct such official correspondence as shall be required. The Secretary shall also count votes on matters before the membership.
Membership Secretary

The Membership Secretary shall maintain current copies of the complete neighborhood residence roster, and actively promote membership in the association.
